Larry stopped me to wish him a happy 61st birthday. Friends gave him a family picture, aping one of his street disguises. Burlington born and bred, hope he survives the winter and doesn’t become one of Burlington’s dead.
I asked if I could get him lunch. He said people brought him food, mostly pizza, which he scarfed down. He grabbed my arm and made the traditional money sign, rubbing his thumb and forefinger together. I ignored him. “Its my birthday, you could make a donation.” I had to go. I give, but not when someone strongarms me.
Hi there 🙂 Is it ok if I go kinda off topic? I am tryin to read the blog on my new Mac but it doesn’t show correctly (a few of the boxes are almost completely missing), any suggestions? Should I try to find an upgrade for my browser or something? Thank you for the help I hope! Abbie x 🙂
Hey thanks for this not good post. But I still don’t understand the third part though! – Tandarts
I give to these people regularly, even though I know some of my contributions go to fund unhealthy purchases. But when one of them puts a hand on me and grabs me and demands a gift, I back off.
