Victoria Arrives In City Hall Park
Victoria came to the park for who knows. A little cry and Penguin fed her. Dad acted out, but he smiled proud.
Paul’s Always Angry
Cannot even remember why he was pissed off. People not responding to his sign, maybe? Not enough people on the street? Cops took his ID? Someone gave him an orange. I offered him $1; he wanted two.
Helping Others
A woman couldn’t make a sign. So this man made it for her after she provided the Sharpie and the cardboard. Nice!
Darby Plays
Can he play the thing, or is it just a prop to make people put money in his cap?
Lake Champlain Boat Ride
So, what did you do today, this first real day of Spring with the water levels on Lake Champlain below flood level? I played visitor to Burlington. No. That’s not right. I enjoyed the city by taking a boat ride on the Ethan Allen II. Had two beers, local drafts, served on deck in a sweating glass. Could have been the QE II. Bathed in the sun. Listened to the dippy rap on the history of the Lake. And smiled, happy to be with Sharon, alive and well in Vermont, but don’t tell anyone.
I know how much I appreciate what I have and whom I share it with. I only want to remain relevant.

Paul’s Going to Court
Paul said he didn’t know where the Courthouse was or why he had to go, except that a cop told him he had a court date. Supposedly, he was tuning his guitar in the park and got a ticket for noise pollution; after protesting, he got another ticket for something. Fines total $850, which he doesn’t have. I offered to go to court with him, but he rejected my offer.
Paul’s Out
A couple of days in. Now he is out. Looks betta. But no direction home.
